NATIONAL BRAND: Evolution of a Logo
MACTECH AUSTRALIA started life as Specialised Sales & Service, established in Perth and servicing Western Australia.
Over the years CEO Alan Swallow purchased the business outright and expanded it into a national brand.
Originally their logo was three S’s in a circle, then a solid Australia was added to the right side of the circle S logo.
Alan Swallow describes the business as a first class on-site solutions business, both in providing state-of-the-art equipment and also hiring out machinery where required.
“For years we have provided both products and services for fossil power plants, refineries, chemical plants, shipbuilding, mining, heavy equipment and can easily assist you with your needs and specialty applications.
As Specialised Sales & Service grew, Alan saw the need to re-brand the company, and after consultation, we came up with a new look, including a new logo, brochure and a new website.
The new logo retained the silhouette of Australia with the new look elements arraigned as Alan required.
In more recent times, Alan and his company joined forces with one of the USA’s pre-eminent suppliers of onsite equipment – Mactech.
A new logo and website were required, and the new logo is the featured image for this article.

Mactech Australia is growing strongly every year, with offices in Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane, while strong sales are also continuing in New Zealand.
